Please follow this procedure....

just remove the vsftpd lock from /var/lock/subsys/

then in /etc/rc.d/init.d/ directory stop the xinetd daemon.
./xinetd stop

now restart the vsftpd service

service vsftpd restart

and now start the xinetd daemon again...
./xinetd start

Hope this works

The easiest way to recover the admin password on a Windows server with a Plesk installation is accessed by a shell or terminal server and run this command.

"%plesk_bin%"\plesksrvclient.exe -get

the window wont open with the Plesk admin password.

You can also assign a new credential with:

"%plesk_bin%"\plesksrvclient.exe -set

If we add the final true also change the password of the Plesk database. Finally, if we use instead of drawing -nogui the result by the display screen in the console and send the password to the clipboard.

Ok as for COD you will need a server with a good RAM, since this game takes up a lot of it, so if you want to have a good server you can purchase the Xeon 3200 "Kentsfield" (4 cores), with 4 gb of RAM, that will be a good start since you have a 6Mbps bandwidth plan on it, of course you can go higher!! As with any of our servers this one haves a high level of customization, you can add more RAM or more bandwidth according to your needs, this processor is designed to deliver performance across applications and usages where processes can truly appreciate and experience the performance. You can check it out on our page just click: http://www.domaingurus.com/dedicated-servers_quad-core-xeon-dedicated-servers.html

Is quite simple to do so, you have to access your data base on phpmyadmin, and then select the export tab, select what you want to backup, select the save as file option, which will save your database on your hard disk drive as an .sql file, and if you like to you can also select the add drop table option, that will activate the drop option if the tables already exist on the backup, click the Go button to start the process, a popup will ask you for the place where this backup is going to be located, and thats pretty much it just wait till the dump is completed!!

Sure we can!
All depend on your "flavor" of linux you choose for your dedicated server
But for Debian like flavors will be something like:

#apt-get install Bind

or in red hat or fedora will be something like:

#yum install Bind

But you can always go to the official site and download the current stable version of bind, that will get you a .tar.gz file with the source of Bind, after you download this source you will have to:

#tar -xvfz bind.x.tar.gz

#cd bind.x

#./configure --prefix=/usr \
            --sysconfdir=/etc \
            --localstatedir=/var \
            --mandir=/usr/share/man \
            --enable-threads \
            --with-libtool &&
sed -i "s@198.32.64.12@199.7.83.42@" \
    lib/dns/rootns.c &&

#make

That is it you already installed Bind on your server!!

Well if you own a shared hosting or a dedicated server you can purchase our advanced DNS product, that will let you manage the dns settings for a domain name from iBizPanel, or if you like to any of the control panels we offer for dedicated servers, Plesk & Cpanel, have the option to manage the dns for the domains hosted at your servers, any way you can always install and configure Bind, but to do so implies that you have ceratin level of knowledge or that you have a system administrator working for you.

We monitor several services on your dedicated servers, like HTTP,HTTPS,POP3 and SMTP, we have two kinds of monitoring, the basic and the advanced, the basic service is only to alert you whenever a service is down, we check the service before alerting you, just to make sure it is not a false alarm, the advanced service covers the basic service but you can give us directions on what do you want us to do in case of an alert.
Yes we do use nagios for monitoring.

Most online businesses want to know that ongoing traffic from other sites will not affect their website, as is seen often with shared hosting.
If your business needs particular applications that may require a large amount of space, or If you will need a specific amount of bandwidth, then you will likely need a dedicated server. One of the main reasons that people choose dedicated servers for their businesses is reliability.

If you need to offer online games you would take care of the features of the server, remember that if you have a lot of users at the same time using your server its resources will play a critical roll to avoid server hangs. Select a good bandwidth plan, and good features in your server, this will depend the requisites of the game(s) you are using.

When a customer needs advertise his business on the Internet or only wants to have a personal website or have any website he wants the most recommendable is to use a shared server, he won't need to be aware of the problems that the server would have. That's what shared server administrators have to do for him. Dedicated servers is also used for hosting and reselling purposes, however, having a dedicated server implies that you should have a good management skills or good domain of the OS.

I'm sure that you will be able to change your OS to your dedicated servers at any time, you need to open a case asking domaingurus to do it, to do the OS re-installation take about 1 hour for every dedicated server.

Hi Korpa, I use dedicated servers and shared servers, same-thing you do. I distribute all my sites in different servers so I take the most advantage of every server I have.

I bought a couple of dedicated servers with high-end processors, they are working well for rendering, my suggest is to use these servers only for your rendering and not use them for other purposes.
