You can choose what to install on your dedicated server we have different falvors of linux like: Fedora, Debian, SuSe, CentOS, Ubuntu or you can pick a Windows server on the different edittions, plus if you dont like any of this OS, you can activate KVM over IP access on your dedicated server and install pretty much what you want, remember you own your dedicated server you have full root or admin access to it!!

Thank you Chris, I have another question about dedicated servers. When you say that I can "activate KVM over IP" on my dedicated server you mean that I will be able to install any Operating System into my server? meaning that I will be able to change my OS at any time? can you give me more information if I activate KVM over IP into my server how do I use it?

KVM over IP devices use a dedicated microcontroller and potentially specialized video capture hardware to capture the video, keyboard, and mouse signals compress and convert them into packets, and send them over an Ethernet link to a remote console application that unpacks and reconstitutes the dynamic graphical image. This KVM over IP subsystem is typically connected to a system's standby power plane so that it's available during the entire BIOS boot process. These devices allow multiple computers to be controlled remotely across a Internet using the TCP/IP protocols.
So answering your question; Yes you can!
If you combine the fact that you have administrative access or root access and a KVM over IP service on your dedicated server, you can do pretty much what you want with your server, not only install software, but to change the OS at any time you like, virtualizing hosting at your will.
There are plenty of benefits on KVM you can go to our additional services page for more information, http://www.domaingurus.com/kvm-over-ip.html

    Chris,
Thank you for your reply, but I have more questions, regarding "Bandwidth and connectivity" can you please give me what are your bandwidth plans for your dedicated servers? If I purchase a bandwidth plan for my dedicated plan can I change my plan at any time?

Ok our bandwidth plans are the following:

    Bandwidth Plans
    ~650 GB (2 Mbps) - Celeron D servers only
    ~1300 GB (4 Mbps)
    ~1650 GB (5 Mbps)
    ~2000 GB (6 Mbps)
    10 Mbps Unmetered
    3000 GB (~9.26 Mbps)
    4000 GB (~12.35 Mbps)
    5000 GB (~15.43 Mbps)
    6000 GB (~18.52 Mbps)
    8000 GB (~24.69 Mbps)
    10 TB (~30.86 Mbps)
    12.5 TB (~38.58 Mbps)
    15 TB (~46.30 Mbps)
    20 TB (~61.73 Mbps)
    32.4 TB (100 Mbps)

As you can see you can go pretty much from here to the sky!!
Remember each one of our dedicated servers comes with an included bandwidth plan but you can always change this plan for the one that fulfil your needs!
If your bussiness is growing and you are needing more bandwidth you can open up a support case and ask for an upgrade, we know that if you succeed we succeed!!

about your Server monitoring for dedicated servers, can you tell me what services are monitoring? Do you use Nagios?

We monitor several services on your dedicated servers, like HTTP,HTTPS,POP3 and SMTP, we have two kinds of monitoring, the basic and the advanced, the basic service is only to alert you whenever a service is down, we check the service before alerting you, just to make sure it is not a false alarm, the advanced service covers the basic service but you can give us directions on what do you want us to do in case of an alert.
Yes we do use nagios for monitoring.
